
Large Song period jade rhyton in shape of a phoenix bird carrying the beaker. On the side wall, the rhyton has a hydra
carved in high relief. A tao tie ornament is located above a rectangular handle having a contained ring. C-scolls and "Greek
key" pattern decorate the wall of the rhyton. Dimensions: 6.5" X 6" (16.5 X 15 cm.).
